GSK Avodart — Medical VR Training

Statement

A playful VR journey through a patient's body, built to teach resident doctors how BPH is diagnosed and treated.

Developed for GlaxoSmithKline, this SteamVR application tells the story of a patient with BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia), designed for resident-doctor training sessions comparing treatment methods. Starting from the patient's everyday complaints, the user learns the symptoms in the examination room, runs the necessary tests interactively and reaches a diagnosis. Then they travel inside the patient's body to see the urinary system anatomically, follow how the disease progresses and observe molecular interactions and the effects of medication — finally treating the patient in a playful sequence by firing pills.
