Suret at Texhibition Istanbul
March 2025In March 2025 Suret / Persona — the mass-produced dress that woke up in a dark warehouse and decided to become famous — took its place at the Texhibition Innovation Hub in Istanbul, among the newest ideas of the textile industry.
For a garment whose whole story is about wanting to be seen, a trade fair is the perfect stage: thousands of visitors, cameras, and a sea of identical products. Its LED display and sensors let it notice the people around it, generate images with its own artificial intelligence and share them on its Instagram account, @iam.suret.
The fair was covered by The Spin-Off, Noticiero Textil and Textile Network. A year earlier, Suret had first been shown in From Sketch to Pixel: Digital Art during Türkiye Innovation Week 2024.
