Ten years of museum installations
2024It started in 2015 in Gaziantep's Paşa Hamamı Museum, with a 3D palace bath you could walk through and an interactive bathing experience. Since then there have been twenty permanent installations in city museums across Türkiye.
In Trabzon and Sivas, visitors dance the horon in interactive booths; in Antalya, cubes placed on the OPAL Surface table open up the city's stories; in Sivas, an interactive book retells the Sivas Congress and a VR dive takes you into Gürün Gökpınar; in Kayseri, a kiosk teaches the craft of calligraphy and prayer beads.
What connects them is a simple idea: local history should be something you can step into, touch and play — not only read behind glass.
